Food was being flipped and touchdowns were being scored on homecoming Saturday. Whether you were a player, parent, or student, it was a great day to be a fan of the Battlin’ Bears.

Before the game, tailgates took over the parking lot. Students and parents gathered to play cornhole, talk college football, and get ready for the game. Groups of people gathered around grills and tents for a variety of pregame foods and snacks. The school participated in the tailgate as well, serving free burgers, hotdogs, chips, and drinks to students and families.

Once the game got started, it was all cheers for the Bears. The student section was in full swing with chants led by the Rocky Cheer Team. Seven different Rocky players were able to find the endzone in Rocky’s 56-0 shutout against MSU–Northern. The Bears were dominant all four quarters. They finished with 496 offensive yards and held their opponent to just 20. Austin Drake nailed all eight of his extra points, allowing for a flawless game for the Bears.
