This week marks Rocky’s 2022 Homecoming Week. This year the week is full of events, starting with a women’s flag football game on Wednesday, September 21. Thursday is full of events for students, including the Bear Feed and a pep rally from 5:30 to 6:30 on the Green. A Spikeball tournament will follow shortly after. Friday marks the first sports games of homecoming week with the women’s and men’s soccer playing Northwest University at 1:00 and 3:30 respectively on Wendy’s field. Indigenous Gathering Week is also starting this week, with the lighting of the tipis kicking off the event at 6:00 pm.
The Battlin’ Bears will also be battling it out in the gym against MSU Northern with the women’s volleyball game at 7:00. Saturday, students are encouraged to “wear the bear” during a tailgate BBQ in the Tech parking lot before the Battlin’ Bears football team takes on MSU Northern at Herb Clint Field.
